This playful bundle of fluff and spunk is Feather Duster. Now listen, this gal has a boundless personality and playful energy that will keep you entertained for hours. While she may be a bit older at 10 months, she is still right in the prime of her kitten energy phase of life.
Feather Duster came in when she was only about 6 months old, and even for being that young, she was already pregnant and gave birth to 4 kittens. She spent a little under 3 months in foster taking care of her babies before coming back. While she was a fantastic momma and did amazing with caring for them, she missed out on a good chunk of her own kittenhood to care for them - and now that her kittens are all grown up and adopted, she’s making up for lost time by being a complete menace to society in every way that matters.
We don’t believe that Feather Duster has been around a lot of cats, so she doesn’t quite know how to behave around them. One minute she’s scampering around wanting to play with them and the next, she’s hissing and bapping them upside the head. While she certainly could be around other cats, it would be best if it was one that is patient and can put up with her hot-n-cold mood. She absolutely does not like dogs in the slightest, no thank you.
She also is a fan of play-biting hands. It’s not aggressive, but just something to be mindful of. She would likely do better in a home with some older kiddos who don’t mind her toothy way of asking for attention.
Feather Duster is basically a kitten in an adult body. She’s got the energy, the spunk, and the personality of a little gremlin that wants nothing more than to cause mischief and chaos. Will she keep you on your toes? Yes. Will she keep you entertained with her silly antics? Also yes. If you want a cat that will keep your life full of laughter and joy, Feather Duster might just be the feline for you. 🐾
